Babajaga says, "Greetings Kale."
Kale exclaims, "aha! You are here!"
(Sleipnir waves to Kale)

(Kale bows)
Sleipnir ponders, "This exile is a clever one!"
(Sleipnir bows low to Kale, and doffs his hat with a flourish.)
Sleipnir asks, "May we aid thee?"
Kale asks, "You are SIr Sleipnir and Lady Babajaga?"
(Babajaga smiles to Kale)
Sleipnir says, "We be so."
Kale exclaims, "Good!"
Kale exclaims, "I have been looking for you two for hours!"
Babajaga asks, "Oh?"
Sleipnir says, "I am sorry for that."
Kale says, "I am Kale M'Neko, a retainer of the Count, Lady Sadraz's father"
Babajaga exclaims, "Ah!"
Sleipnir exclaims, "Ah!"
(Babajaga bows.)
(Sleipnir bows low)
Babajaga says, "Indeed"
Babajaga says, "Do sit with us."

Sleipnir says, "Aye, do please."
Kale says, "upon hearing of the news of his son-in-law's death, I was sent here,
to comfort her in her time of need"
Kale says, "ah, thank you kind souls"
Sleipnir says, "That be most kind of thee"
Kale says, "tell me, if it is not too presumptuous.."
(Sleipnir bows)
Kale asks, "why does the Lady cry?"
(Sleipnir looks away)
(Babajaga looks down)
Sleipnir says, "Because I am a foolish Knight."
Sleipnir says, "And I be most ashamed."
Babajaga says, "Because I am vulnerable."
Sleipnir says, "Thou hast touched upon a sore point indeed."
(Kale looks from the one to the other)
Kale says, "my apologies, I withdraw the question"
Babajaga asks, "You may have heard of the recent events?"
Kale asks, "recent events, Lady Babajaga?"
Kale asks, "of what do you speak?"
(Sleipnir looks at the ground)
(Babajaga looks at Sleipnir)
Sleipnir says, "Do continue, Beloved, I beg thee."
Sleipnir says, "Explain to this gentleman."
Babajaga says, "dear Kale, I will present to you a question"
Sleipnir says, "For I cannot."
(Sleipnir listens)
Babajaga asks, "Love that is challenged, and has been victorius, is that not a stronger love,
than one that has never been?"
Kale exclaims, "this is most true! So long as the love truly has emerged victorious,
there can be no greater!"
(Sleipnir nods sadly)
(Kale cocks his head to one side and looks at Sir Sleipnir)
Kale asks, "would you not agree, Sir Sleipnir?"
(Sleipnir has little to say)
Sleipnir says, "Perhaps"
Sleipnir says, "I can only hope so."
Sleipnir says, "For the alternative is unthinkable."
Babajaga asks, "And why should this love be less than one that is never challenged ?"
Sleipnir says, "I say that not, Lady."
Babajaga asks, "Is it not love still? Is not the everyday choice love?"
Sleipnir says, "For thou, this may well be."
Babajaga exclaims, "Then why do you mistrust me!"

Sleipnir says, "I do not so."
Sleipnir says, "We must not argue in front of Kale."
Sleipnir says, "That would be most impolite."
Sleipnir says, "Please forgive us, good Kale."
Sleipnir says, "We mean not to burden thee with our troubles."
Kale says, "if you would listen to the advice of an old servant of the M'Neko house..."
(Sleipnir listens)
Babajaga says, "You said that wise words do often come from strangers.."
Babajaga says, "As the one closest may be overlooked..."
Kale says, "it seems you two are greatly in love, and something has recently happened
to test your faith in each other"
Sleipnir says, "Aye, for certes they do"
Sleipnir says, "Aye, that be so."
Kale asks, "so you do love the lady then, Sir?"
Sleipnir says, "As my life."
Kale asks, "and I assume you fought hard to win her heart?"
Sleipnir says, "Against myself, was the hardest fight."

Sleipnir says, "I fought, aye, and won."
Kale says, "ahh"
Kale says, "and you think then that are never further battles to be fought..."
Sleipnir says, "In my heart, there are not."
Kale asks, "Great Lord, I would assume your family owns a castle?"
Sleipnir says, "In theory, aye. In practise, it be really a farm."
Kale says, "or certainly a keep, you have the look of nobility"
Sleipnir says, "Minor nobility, only."
Sleipnir says, "Very minor."
Kale says, "ah, then we shall call it a farm, though it must certainly be a grand one"
Kale says, "and this 'farm' of your family..."
Kale asks, "your ancestors fought against the land, they fought against brigands,
they fought against their own fears to claim it?"
Sleipnir says, "Aye, indeed so."
Kale says, "and when it was theirs, they settled in, and were at peace"
Sleipnir says, "There is always fighting to be done."
Kale says, "ah..."
Sleipnir says, "Land must be protected."
Babajaga ponders, "So it must...land?"
Kale says, "so they did not give up on their holdings, simply because it was threatened"
Sleipnir says, "They did not, indeed not."
(Sleipnir chuckles at the very thought!)
Kale exclaims, "no, your noble blood must have risen up against the odds,
and fought hard against them!"
Sleipnir says, "Aye, verily so."
Kale says, "and after that battle had ended, they must have felt an even greater love for their land.."
Kale asks, "that they had fought so hard for, and yet won?"
Sleipnir says, "Aye, land drenched in blood is well loved."
(Kale nods)
Kale says, "tell me, Sir.."
Kale asks, "is that land worth more than your wife?"
Sleipnir says, "Nay."
(Babajaga looks at Sleipnir)
Sleipnir says, "Not the smallest part of her."
Kale asks, "but, you seem to want to give up the battle for her?"
Kale asks, "is she not worth the fight?"
(Sleipnir is caught)
Sleipnir says, "Aye, she be so."
(Sleipnir begins to weep)
(Babajaga takes Sleipnirs hand)
(Sleipnir takes Babajaga's hand)
